In 1999, he founded one of Australia’s largest privately owned scaffolding companies and has served as Executive Director for more than 25 years. His expertise encompasses advanced rigging, scaffolding, mechanical building, and construction in oil, gas, and mining. He has contributed to major infrastructure projects, including the Adelaide Superway, Adelaide Desalination Plant, and Chevron’s Gorgon Project. He holds a Diploma in Leadership & Management and high-risk licenses in advanced scaffolding, rigging, and crane operation.
Managing Director
With more than 24 years of leadership and management experience in both public and private sectors, he has guided Caledonia Group for over 18 years, overseeing targeted growth, including multiple startups and a significant merger. His background includes service in the Scottish Police Force, emphasizing structure, discipline, and innovation. He holds a Master’s degree in business administration, focusing on strategic business planning and human resources management.
DIRECTOR
He offers extensive executive and board-level experience in strategic leadership, governance, and business transformation. Previously, he served as Managing Director and CEO of Codan Limited, overseeing global operations in technology, manufacturing, and defense. His contributions focus on corporate governance, risk management, sustainable growth, and innovation.
Executive General Manager – Industrial
With over 20 years in the industrial services sector (including oil & gas, mining, civil infrastructure, power generation, and construction) across the UK, Middle East, Europe, and Australia, he has held roles such as National Rope Access Manager. He is a former IRATA Australasia Vice Chairman and has led major hook-up and commissioning projects. He supports operational capabilities in rope access and related services.
