Structural Analysis

What is Structural Analysis?

Structural Analysis is a process of determining the effects of loads and internal forces on a structure and their components.

Importance of Structural Analysis

Some scaffold structures due to their location, supporting structure, exposure to extreme wind conditions and complex geometry require modelling to ensure that each component is safe for use under specific load combination. For example, large, heavy and tall scaffolds may require structural analysis of the vertical member that support the working decks to check their axial load.

How Do We Perform Structural Analysis?

Our accredited Design Engineers can utilise two methods of Structural Analysis known either by hand or utilising Specialist Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The software package of choice for FEA is AutoCad Robot 3D.  The computerised method offers time efficiency, safety and accuracy.
